I've always wanted to know why negativity was so easy? It's to been seen rather than the good things you may do. How can one mistake start a hard-knock road for the rest of your life? How a rumor be better shared rather than something good people can dwell on. But in the end why are you so quick to judge me before getting to know me?
Why give someone a name just off of what you heard. Why can't you find out for yourself? From my emotions yes I've came into an experience like this: To be titled by everybody including ones who don't even know me. To feel like a public target with your social group. To feel like you go everyday battling an army when it's only you. Why ME ? it was only ONE mistake. . . .
A mistake I've learned from, grown from, and it made me who I am today.
Look past what you heard. . .Label me something I dislike.
Everyone agrees. . .
except for me.
I'm a nice person. I really am.
Oh right my mistake. Sorry again.
That's how you know me ? Right.
Of course you do. I can see it in your eyes.
I'm "the topic" of everybody's conversation.
Not the type of attention I wanted to capture.
They act different once I'm around.
Yet, as I leave voices a loud.
They, judge me harshly and control my status.
Their's not ONE person who seems to look past it.

Statistics
9 percent of teens (13-17) have been prescribed anti-depressants at sometime in their lives. 8 out of 10 teenagers commit suicide after being bullied and abused. To be judged has become something bigger than it may seem. To deal with low self-esteem without any type of confidence can really weaken you. To make you feel unaccepted from the world. STOP the judging and STOP the bullying. You wouldnt like for it to happen to YOU...
would you?

Chicago. . . Outlook
Browsing through flickr I caught this picture that captured my outlook on Chicago. "Chicago Skyline" by prithis. I think it really symbolizes Chicago because it catches its "City Life". Having all the lights beaming and specified shapes of the buildings of Downtown Chicago. Its that type of picture that when its viewed you say... " Awww.... that's Chicago". < 3

Life Without Our Technology ???? Umm . . .
Life without technology is SUICIDE! Not to say that I "live" off of it but, it plays a good 100% of a role in my life. Cell phones, computers, and it all can build up an individual social life. Texts, I:M, calls, and video chats all build up a way of communication. But, without technology would lack that sense of communication and might cause another "Great Depression". But it could also increase the focus on the important things around you. For example are you quick to answer a text message from your "<3" or read a book of your interest. Overall, I would miss the sense of communication any and everywhere. Working with GirlWorld 2.0 with technology is a great benefit. To use technology for a way of sharing a voice.

No Bullet Has A Name On It
Gun violence is always negative. conspired by revenge, hatred, and sometimes a mistake. Knowing that the resolution of a problem is with the action of a GUN. The saying goes that "No bullet comes with a name" This defines a missed bullet or failure of an aim. You may point the gun at one in particular, but its 30 other people , unknowingly, are aimed at as well. I grew up in a community of gun violence. I witnessed attempts of a hit and run at a young age. When I was little my uncle was caught at gun point and was robbed. I was looking out the window awaiting his arrival. My mom soon told me this when I got older. Knowing that I was a witness of my uncle's life either being taken or kept really scared me and, just notified me that I'm glad my mom finally got us out of the area. I always looked at gun violence as another way of "quick and easy " . A problem could never be talked out. It alwas gets physical and somebody just has to go. Why? why stand as the reason that a family is heartbroken, and show no disrespect or mercy for what you've done? I guess times have changed. Problems just have to be quickly resloved and somebody has to go... easily.
